Words from meditation
Today during my Yoga practice (Zendo Energy Work) at home, I reminded myself of these two sayings that have served me many times over and has helped me get back in balance with my meditation and exercises each day.
1. If you want to be reborn; then allow yourself to die
2. If you want to be given everything; then give everything up.
So in conclusion, don’t allow yourself to become stiff, stagnant and stale. If you begin to drift into that low slow moving energy and way of life, then allow it to die, fade away and become new again, be reborn.
And stay in balance with the universe and your higher self by giving before others have the need to ask to receive and in return you will receive before having the urge to ask to receive. That is the highest level of synchronicity that you can live within and that will lead you down some amazing paths in your life.
So breathe and be grateful before, during and after you practice each day.
Every Zendo Yoga workshop or class I teach I always share wisdom from my own life experience and my version of living the way. Yesterday the wisdom was this. “The true to all your strengths is LOVE. With love you are restored, vibrant, healthier, empowered, stronger, Happy and full of life, if you take love away you are, week, poor, unfulfilled, unhappy, in pain, and depleted. So if you want to be strong in your life in all aspects, simply fin LOVE in all that you are and do.”
Week 3: Balance & Stillness | 10/14/12
This Sunday the workshop is: Week 3: Balance & Stillness | 10/14/12
The third workshop in this series will challenge you in many ways as Zebulon guides you through balancing poses and the importance of stillness within each pose.
On this day the focus is on centering yourself and letting go of any stress and or blockages that you may be experiencing. This day you will learn to play with your energy and learn what may be taking you out of balance so that you can get back into balance.
If you want to deepen your yoga balance, then be sure to attend. I will be showing you some very fun poses and will challenge you even more. :)
See You All There!
I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s zendo yoga workshop @Half Moon Yoga Medina. Be sure to view the workshop information on the website. www.zendoenergy.com/workshops.htm
The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it’s so great, because for a little bit I’m out of my brain, and it’s got nothing to do with me. I’m not trying to figure it out, you know what I mean? And I wonder if I can somehow find a way to maintain that mind stillness.
Ok really, what is Zendo?
The Zendo practice of life and balance varies depending on the practice it is being applied to. Traditionally the Zendo practice is for yoga, but has been worked into other practices such as; athlete training, martial arts, dance and weight training.
Zendo is the practice of self reflection and oneness with one’s true nature. In Zendo the focus is on slowing down everything we do during the chosen practices. In yoga we slow down the movements between poses for a deep conditioning of inner strength both physically and mentally. The Zendo practice is NOT all about poses. It’s about balance, flexibility, control, breath work, conditioning, meditation and stillness.
Applying the way in Zendo to your practice, whatever that may be, will balance your life and the overall experience of your practice by taking you deeper into mastery of oneness and control.
Come learn Zendo and how it can work for you and your practice.
